Ralph’s artwork, titled, “Contact,” was selected as the top entry by a panel of local artists. Ralph will now attend a reception on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Capitol Visitor Center Auditorium and Atrium in Washington D.C. where his artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol complex.

Congresswoman Bordallo today reintroduced a resolution to support the goals and ideals of the ninth annual National Asian and Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS Awareness Day to draw attention to the stigma and disparities that hinder proper treatment and prevention within the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities. The Congresswoman first introduced this resolution in the 111th Congress as H.Res. 439, and again in the 112th Congress as H.Res. 265.

Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today issued the following statement after Team Guam won 1st place in the 12th Annual ProStart Invitational held in Baltimore, Maryland. The National ProStart Invitational is the nation’s top restaurant management and culinary arts high school competition held from April 19 to 21. Team Guam competed with the top ProStart students from 43 states and territories nationwide testing their skills, talents, and passion for the culinary arts, winning up to $1.4 million in scholarships. Team Guam comprises Angelica Sia, Airen Magday, Leyann Lusung, and Mac Daniel Dimla from Simon Sanchez High School in Yigo.
