Bordallo Joins Colleagues in Assembling Care Packages for Troops Serving Abroad

Congresswoman Madeleine Z. Bordallo today joined her colleagues and Congressional staffers in assembling care packages for servicemembers serving abroad. The event was hosted by the USO Congressional Caucus, of which Congresswoman Bordallo is a member.

“I commend the USO for again putting this event together for members of Congress and our staff to pack and send care packages to our servicemembers serving abroad,” said Congresswoman Bordallo. “I have visited our troops serving around the world on 29 occasions, including 14 to Afghanistan and 11 to Iraq. They are always appreciative of these care packages from home, which serve as a small token of our support and gratitude. I am so proud of their service, and I am grateful for the sacrifices they and their families make every day.”
